How do I switch a diamond from an old wedding ring to a new platinum band?
My girlfriend is going to use her grandma’s ring when we get married (Asking soon), but she doesn’t like the band and wants to put her grandma’s diamond on to a new band. How difficult is this process and does anyone know if Tiffany’s and/or Harry Winston will allow for this?
anyone will do it. You buy the setting, then you buy the diamond or already have one. Find out the size of the diamond and then start looking at settings. It’s easy. My bf is doing the same thing. The jeweler here displays the rings with CZ’s in them and then some don’t have diamonds in them at all. So this is VERY normal.
